The courts at Paddles Swim & Pickleball Club will be reserved on Saturday, May 31st, for the Play Team Pickleball spring league championship matches.

Over the past three months, more than 600 players from 67 teams across Pittsboro, Chapel Hill, and Durham have battled it out on the courts. Now, the season culminates in Saturday’s championship matches, with novice, intermediate, and advanced teams vying for top honors and a spot in the East Coast Championships in Greensboro later this summer.

We’re proud to have two teams representing the Paddles Pickleball Club:

• “We Pickle in Public” (novice level) – playing at 9:00 AM

• “No Mercy Blues” (high intermediate level) – playing at 12:00 PM

Additional matches will be taking place throughout the day, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, featuring men’s, women’s, and mixed teams. Matches typically last about 90 minutes and are scheduled to start at 9:00, 10:30, 12:00, 1:30, 3:00, and 4:30.

Please note that courts will be reserved for tournament play until 6:00 PM, at which time they will reopen for member use.
